About the department
Contiweb has his own Development & Engineering department, which employs about 20 colleagues. The work within the department can be devided into five segments; initiating new business, developling new products (new equipment or aftermarket business), sustaining (maintaining the product range/ replacing obsolete components), performance (finding technical solutions to complex problems on machines in the field) and configure-to-order work (developing variations and options on mostly standard products).
What you will do
As a Software Engineer, you are responsible for designing, developing and programming software for a product within a product group. You take into account the lead time of the product, customer requirements, functionalities and price/quality ratio. You contribute to the development of new products on the basis of requirements and translate functionalities and specifications into a software design. You will also develop test and programme code, organise reviews and perform technical support activities for other disciplines and business processes. You work from our office in Beugen. Occasional travel to the customer is allowed and possible to gain knowledge, but is not a standart part of this job.

Who are you

- You poses a higher vocational (HBO) level of working and thinking – preferably with a background in Informatica or Mechatronics
- You are familiar with software languages, at least with a command of Structured Text (ST). You supplement this with basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical components and knowledge of drive and control technology
- Work experience as a Software Engineer in the machine building industry is a pré
- You have knowledge of standards, safety regulations, quality and inspection requirements in the field of machine building and are familiar with PLC controls
- You preferably have knowledge of and experience with object-oriented programming and HMI programming

- A good basic salary between € 3.600 and € 5.900 gross per month (based on a 40 hour week)
